Floor removal
Carpet removal
Carpet is simple to remove until an installer glued it to the slab. We remove the carpet, the pad, the tack strip and the staples. We also grind off the glue.
The part that surprises customers
Most carpet lifts easily. But many older houses in the Valley, and most commercial areas, have carpet that is glued to the concrete. When you lift that carpet, dry glue stays on the slab. No new floor bonds to that glue.
To remove the glue, the crew must grind it. This step makes the fine dust that our system collects. We include this step in the price for glue-down carpet. We do not add it later.
We remove all of it
Carpet is large and difficult to move. Waste removal is part of the price on each job. You do not need a container, and you do not drive to the transfer station.
